FAQ

CBD, or cannabidiol, is the most abundant non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid found in the genus Cannabis, to which both marijuana and industrial hemp belong. It is a naturally occurring compound that mimics the structure of endocannabinoids found in our bodies.

CBD does not contain the psychoactive components found in THC that are often associated with the “high” feeling of Cannabis. Both THC and CBD provide distinct medical benefits and can work alone or in tandem.

We recommend starting with smaller doses and waiting 1-2 hours before taking another dosage. Some people’s bodies are more sensitive than others. However, CBD is non-toxic and it is impossible to overdose. Our patches are designed to last up to 96 hours.

Pure Ratios products provide long lasting and sustained relief. The endocannabinoid system is implicated in regulation of the body, so CBD can affect many different parts of your body.

When beginning treatment, track progress using a journal or log. Note the time you ingest or apply the CBD. Every 30 minutes or so, note the time and track your symptom(s) on a scale from 1 – 10. If symptoms are not being alleviated, slowly increase the dosage until the symptoms of relieved.

The patch can be administered anywhere on the body. Place the patch near or on top of where the discomfort is located. To use:

    1. Cleanse skin with alcohol wipe (provided).

    2. Firmly apply patch to area where the pain is located.

For best results, try to place the patch in areas with minimal hair.

If you consume CBD oil, you will most likely not test positive for cannabis on most standard drug tests. Standard drug tests are testing for THC and its metabolites. As CBD oil contains either less than 0.3% of THC or none at all, failing a drug test is unlikely, however it's best not to use CBD products if you are regularly drug tested. The only exception is in using topical CBD products since they are not going into the bloodstream.
